At ParaMed, our program provides support to clients and families managing and coping with the daily challenges associated with dementia including Alzheimer’s disease. Our trained staff will provide dignified and respectful personal care and companionship with a focus on building relationships in a safe environment.

ParaMed’s Registered Dietitians provide individualized nutrition assessments and work with clients toward development of a treatment plan, including diet programs, meal ideas and recommendations on nutritional supplements, as well as nutrition counselling.

We provide in-home Occupational Therapy by assisting with strategies for daily activities as well as help with equipment which is very much needed to maintain independence. ParaMed’s Occupational Therapy services include assistance with wheelchairs, walkers and bathroom equipment.

At ParaMed, we help children who are medically fragile and homebound cope with the difficulties associated with their illness or health condition.

Physiotherapy services at home can help alleviate pain, improve mobility and even restore fitness in older people. Physiotherapy services for the elderly can make day-to-day activities easier.

ParaMed’s Social Workers are focused on the welfare of individuals and families.  Our Social Workers use their skills to help others live happy, more effective lives.
